Dr. Vincent Burton

Anesthesiologist
Dr. Vincent Burton is an anesthesiologist/pain management specialist who attended medical school at the University of the West Indies from 1984-1989. He returned to the Bahamas where he completed his internship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau then transferred to the Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport in 1991 as a Senior House Officer.
He subsequently completed Residency Training in Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Management in the United Kingdom from 1998-2001 before returning to the Bahamas. He became Consultant Anesthetist at the Rand Memorial Hospital in 2003 and remains to date as the Director of ICU services. Additionally, he established the Grand Bahama Anesthesia and Pain Management Centre.
